This is a view of a stream leading to a waterfall in the Shawangunk Mountains. I attempted to use the sculpted qualities of the piece to capture the topography of the area. Crafted with multiple pieces of cut wood, assembled attached and glued together for the final composition. Materials include mixed drawing media, encaustic paint and oil paint.
